Since its inception in 2005, ZinFest has always been a celebration of Lodi Wine – the varietals, the vintners and the growers that have come to define the unique personality of the region. This event now attracts wine enthusiasts from more than twenty states and three countries, endearing itself to anyone lucky enough to experience the hospitality of Lodi and the unmatched diversity of its wines.
But for all its success, something was missing. Based on direct feedback from event attendees as well as members of the Lodi wine industry and supporting community, it became apparent that there existed a need to set the event on a new trajectory. Fueled by the desire to clearly communicate its breadth of wines (not just Zinfandel) and to broaden the event’s audience, positioning it as an iconic wine and food experience celebrating Lodi’s history of winegrowing and diversity of wines, the decision to rename the event was made. ZinFest became the Lodi Row x Row Festival. A more contemporary, polished aesthetic was created to accompany the name, completing the new brand image.
This concept is inspired by Lodi’s dedication to its craft, which begins in the vineyard and gives a nod to the incredible diversity of soils and winegrape varieties which differ naturally or purposefully row by row, even within the same vineyard.
We invite you to join us at the 2021 Lodi Row x Row Festival to experience for yourself an iconic weekend of world-class wines and the friendly faces behind the craft.
